Installing R on a windows based computer

Error Information: Please see attached

Description of issue - Can't run R

Steps taken so far - I have downloaded and installed R on my laptop (Windows 10)

System Information:

  • RStudio Edition: Desktop
  • RStudio Version: 1.2.5019
  • OS Version: Windows 10
  • R Version: 64 bit
    PNG
    PNG2126×1384 510 KB

R and RStudio are two separate pieces of software, but you need to install the former for the later been able to work.
Try installing R first, you can download it from here
https://cran.r-project.org/bin/windows/base/
