I'm attempting to use R Studio but am experiencing highly intermittment loss of connection to R messages. I have seen that many others have experienced similar problems and suggested updating to 1.4XX but that has not resolved the issue. As further background I am running Windows 10 and the most current version of R. Are there plans to address this issue? Any workarounds in the meantime? Thank you.
Does this show up only when you start the RStudio IDE? Or other times as well? Could you please post a screenshot of the error?

### Steps to reproduce the problem
1. Map a network drive (e.g., /Volumes/somedrive
2. create an R project and save it (e.g., /Volumes/somedrive/myproj.Rproj)
3. save and close
4. open .Rproj file in RStudio
### Describe the problem in detail
When RStudio opens the network drive .Rproj file, the following screen is displayed every time:

Cannot Connect to R
RStudio can't establish a connection to R. This usually indicates one of the following:
The R session is taking an unusually long time to start, perhaps because of slow operations in startup scripts or slow network drive access.
RStudio is unable to communicate with R over a local network port, possibly because of firewall restrictions or anti-virus software.
Please try the following:
If you've customized R session creation by creating an R profile (e.g. located at ~/.Rprofile), consider temporarily removing it.
If you are using a firewall or antivirus software which guards access to local network ports, add an exclusion for the RStudio and rsession executables.
Run RGui, R.app, or R in a terminal to ensure that R itself starts up correctly.

Click the Retry button and the project loads normally.
If you then have some files in the project - e.g., create test.R with minimal content - then save and close.
Re-open the project.
Now you get the "Cannot Connect to R" screen.
After hitting Retry, you get a new error screen :

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
```
Click the "Reload" button on this page and your project loads.
However, some features are quite slow, in particular, the tab completion of data.frame column names.
e.g., typing `mtcars$` and then <tab> to display the list of column_names, this takes a several seconds rather than being immediate. I have my code completions set to Manually (Tab) in my Global options.

No error on project load.
Fast completion of column_names when using Manual (Tab) completions.

### Describe the problem in detail
I'm a longtime RStudio user. About a month ago, I started to routinely get this message while working in RStudio:
Error: Unable to establish connection with R session
It shows up consistently, no matter what I do and no matter which files I am using. It occurs whether my working directory is linked to Dropbox or whether it is on my Desktop.
The problem does not occur with base R, only with RStudio
I've looked on the community boards and have tried the following things:
1. Uninstalling and reinstalling Rstudio
2. Changing the software rending to "Software"
3. Resetting Rstudio
4. Remove start-up files.Rdata , .Rprofile and .Rhistory and Rprofile.site

### Reproducing the issue
The issue ALWAYS happens within 20 seconds after I open RStudio. There is no pattern to the line of code that produces it or anything like that.
