Is R/RStudio going to have problems supporting the new ARM Mac computer

Hello,

I was surprised not to find any discussion/blog post online about how is R/RStudio going to approach the shift of the Mac to ARM processors. Apple confirmed already that they will support python officially on their side https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/649933.
Was any test already made with the development kit? My biggest doubts are regarding the management of parallel processing, since in the Apple silicon you don't have equal hierarchy cores, but high power and low power ones, that should be managed by MacOs API.
