CRAN has packages organised into a massive list that are arranged based on the task they do. However, is there a similar list of ecosystems?
By ecosystem, I mean a group of related, interoperable packages such as
- the tidyverse,
- tlverse (https://tlverse.org/)
- and natverse (http://natverse.org/).
For packages that do not belong to an ecosystem- is there any way to gauge whether they will work well together? - by this I mean they do not interfere with each other, they gel well and have minimal functional redundancy.
