Hi all, I have an Rmarkdown script which knits to word. I was hoping to use Flextable within the script to create my tables, however, I have just stumbled upon a document that says you cannot apply transparency to Flextable when knitting to word. Does anyone know if there is a way to override this?
I wanted to use flextable as I need a table format which is compatible when knitting to word, has borders and gridlines (horizontal and vertical), and that is editable in the output. I have tried other table packages but they don't seem to encompass all of the above so any help on getting flextable to be transparent would be greatly appreciated. Or if anyone is aware of any other table packages that allow for all of the above that would also be appreciated.
