Issue with SMB 3.1.1 Windows CIFS Mount

I am having an issue using SMB 3.1.1 on Rhel8 with a mount pointing to a Windows file share.

I am able to copy files from the mount locally, however when i try to use Tidyverse and read_csv, it locks up my R session and doesn't do anything.

I've tried from the RServer IDE and R command line, same results.

We did discover, moving back to SMB3.0 resolves the issue (adding vers=3.0 in fstab for each mount).

I'm curious if anyone else has seen this.
