Hello,

I would like to ask whether tinytex could be installed in RStudio Cloud, so that rmarkdown PDFs could be knit even when tinytex isn't installed on the local machine.

The answer is YES.

If you install rmarkdown in RStudio Cloud, it'll automatically install tinytex. Then, you can to PDF with no problem.
