Library errors - RStudio 1.2.1335 - RHEL 7.2

I recently upgraded from RStudio 1.0.153 -> 1.2.1335 running RHEL 7.2 (Maipo) and R version 3.3.2. Now RStudio won't launch - I see the following errors on start-up:

rstudio: /usr/lib64/libdbus-1.so.3: no version information available (required by /pa/0o4/RStudio/rstudio-1.2.1335/bin/../lib/libQt5DBus.so.5)
rstudio: /usr/lib64/libdbus-1.so.3: no version information available (required by /pa/0o4/RStudio/rstudio-1.2.1335/bin/../lib/libQt5WebEngineCore.so.5)
rstudio: relocation error: rstudio: symbol SSL_COMP_free_compression_methods, version libssl.so.10 not defined in file libssl.so.10 with link time reference

RStudio GUI doesn't launch.
Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Which version of RStudio did you install? This version should work on RHEL 7:

https://download1.rstudio.org/desktop/centos7/x86_64/rstudio-1.2.1335-x86_64.rpm

If that's not the case, please let us know and we'll try to investigate further.

I have a very similar problem on fedora 30 fresh installation.

This is my bug report:

Hi Kevin,

I installed from the tar archive as I don't have system permissions to install rpms:

https://download1.rstudio.org/desktop/centos7/x86_64/rstudio-1.2.1335-x86_64-fedora.tar.gz

Regards,
Darren

A post was split to a new topic: how do you install previous version of RStudio?

I had the same problema as dramsay, using then same rpm for 1.2.1335...

Had to revert to previous version...
