Who has got experience in calculating longitudinal IRT models (especially Graded Response Model for ordinal data)? It's really hard to get information on how to do that correctly! Any sugguestions for books, articles, online ressources are welcome. I know the mirt package and the mirt google mail list, but it didn't help much.

The CRAN taskview on Psychometric Models and Methods describes the {ltm} package as having a facility to do this. It's described in this JSS article.
