Banner says "It’s been a while since we’ve seen $user" but this is on a thread where the user in question has clearly posted more recently: the post date is 2019-07-14.
The way I understand it, at the time of the post (2019-07-14), this user didn't post for 2 years. So previous post then was somewhere in 2017.

I guess I would just say that the banner might be helpful while the thread is open but then should probably be removed to avoid confusion once it's served its purpose.
But this is such a minor point I think it doesn't need any time or effort spent on changing it.
