Modifying one style modifies all styles in Microsoft word template document

Hi: This is I guess a little tangential to RMarkdown but maybe I can get some leeway here.
I'd like to insert page breaks in an RMarkdown document following these instructions. My code is working, in that it is producing a page break where I want it, but somehow modifying the Word style for Heading 5 has deleted all formatting from the other styles, so the document looks pretty bare. I think collaborators who would receive this type of Word document would be surprised.

This is handled by pandoc, and page 18 of the manual explains how to control styles more finely.

This was a good suggestion and I have solved the problem.
