At work we have a shiny application which has been shared to about 30 users. At the moment we have the application on a Windows Server which the users then use Remote Desktop Services to connect to, and run the application directly. It works decently well as it is all being shared internally.
We are looking for some way to monitor usage of the app, things like how many times the apps has been used and used for how long. Are there any shiny packages that would do this?
Not sure if there's an R package for it, but you can do it by integrating some javascript (e.g. google analytics), see App usage tracking from rstudio
I will take a look, thank you. Ideally none of the usage data/tracking data would be going on the cloud or off premises.
