Most appropriate model for nonparametric behavioral data?

I am trying to analyze behavioral data from 10 different animals. I have calculated the total number of seconds each animal has spent in each behavioral category (5 categories = rest, feed, groom, move, alert), and converted these into percents. I have two different groups, one of 5 animals the other of 8 animals. I would like to compare budgets between individuals as well as compare budgets between seasons (group 1=wet season, group 2= dry season, different animals in each season)...Are there any suggestions about the most appropriate model for comparing overall budgets and comparing between seasons? I've tried a Wilcoxon so far, but I'm honestly not sure if I ran it right.
