multiple Windows worker nodes for {future} and {furrr}

I've used {furrr} with a cluster of Linux worker nodes forming a parallel {future} backend. The only requirement is that I can ssh from my master to the workers and the worker nodes have R and required packages installed. That works great and I put the recipe in the R Cookbook. But I was recently asked, "how do I do that with Windows machines?" And I have to admit, I have no idea. Is there a guide somewhere to building {future} clusters out of Windows machines? Any tips would be appreciated.
