I use RStudio with the SOURCE pane popped-out to a second vertical monitor. My ideal layout would have the CONSOLE pane full-width on the bottom of my first horizontal monitor (to maximize tibble printing, really). From there, it would be great to have two other panes (e.g., PLOTS and FILES) taking up equal space on the top of the first horizontal monitor.
As of right now, I'm simply putting all options (save for one) into a single pane and completely collapsing the unused pane. More flexibility with non-quandrant layouts would be appreciated!
