Not able to install packages in R

Error Information:

Description of issue -
Warning in install.packages :
package ‘caTools’ is not available (for R version 3.4.4)
Steps taken so far -
1.Disabled the firewall
2.Unchecked the(Use secure download method for HTTP

System Information:

  • RStudio Edition: (Desktop or Server)
  • RStudio Version: 1.2.5033
  • OS Version: LINUX MINT 19
  • R Version: 3.4.4

Hi, and welcome!

The current version, updated just a few days ago requires a later version of R

Depends: R (>= 3.6.0)

Upgrade and you should have no problem.
