On par alternative to tidytemplate?

Hi All,

The tidytemplate (https://github.com/tidyverse/tidytemplate) is such a great pkgdown template but unfortunately (though, understandably so) is copyright protected, having the upfront admonition: Please don’t use it for your own package .

I don't think there is an alternative template on par with tidytemplate. Just wondering if the developers ever thought of forking (or allowing others to fork) tidytemplate perhaps by making a tidyverse-debranded version...?
