Panes are flipped vertically or rotated by 180°

Hello,
I just installed RStudio and started it for the first time. However, I cannot use it, because the inner view is rotated by 180° or maybe flipped vertically. Is there any setting to make this normal?
Running in a Windows 10 virtual machine with Virtual Box Guest additions enabled (host is Linux Mint/Ubuntu 18.04 LTS).
