I am getting a Permission Denied error when attempting to update Global Options, specifically Appearance. I am using RStudio v 1.4.904 but experienced the issue with an earlier version as well. Am on MacOS 10.15.6. I see a few other people recently have raised a similar issue, but unfortunately the items are closed and I cannot see the replies. Am grateful for any help.
