Plots loading in a new device

Just updated R to 4.1.2 and now when I run code to generate a plot the plot appears in a separate tab and not in the plots section. Ive run dev.off() which closes the tab but then as soon as i run the code again the new tab just forms again.

Any way to just have plots load back into the plots section and not into a new tab?
