Plotting time on y-axis

Hi there!

I've recently started training for a 10k run and would like to use R to plot how my average pace (which I plan to put on the y-axis) decreases over time (which I plan to put on the x-axis). Is there a way to change the y-axis scaling - it's difficult for me to describe but such that there are no decimals ie instead of 3.6 minutes per kilometre it's 3 minutes 36 seconds.

Thank you!

P.S. It's my first post and I've read all the intro stuff, I hope that this obeys all the rules

Hi!

To help us help you, could you please prepare a reproducible example (reprex) illustrating your issue? Please have a look at this guide, to see how to create one:

Do you already have the data typed in?
Try to follow the above described examples and share the data how they look like, or how they will probably look like once you typed the data in.
I guess the expected y-axis will have numbers as 3.6, 3.5, 3.2, 3.1 and so on?
