Hi,
I have taught with base projects in the past where the required packages were preinstalled for student use. In the new update, base projects have been replaced by "Templates". It seems that with this option, unless a new project is created using the template, the packages would not be available. It that correct? Is there a way that some packages could be installed globally in the workspace so that they are always avaialable to students to call using the library() function?

The base project is now called "Default Template", please see the Posit Cloud Guide section about Default Templates for more information.
