Private data in RStudio - implications

Hello

I have recently downloaded the RStudio desktop (free) version to start running statistical analysis in R. I am currently using Stata but I want to change and try R. I would like to ask something before I do that. I am currently using a private dataset (not publicly available data) and so I cannot share this data with anyone (not even companies such as RStudio). I would like to understand the following: if I load any data through RStudio, will this action mean I am publishing these data or these data become available to RStudio team or anyone? Could someone please advise on this?

No, your data remains in your local system, just the same way that opening a docx file through Microsoft Word doesn't make it available to Microsoft.
