Pushing to GitHub requests "password" but actually needs Personal Access Token (PAT)

In a RSTudio/Posit cloud project connected to GitHub, after you commit and click Push, a first popup asks for your username and a second asks for your "password". But what you actually need to enter is a GitHub Personal Access Token (PAT). This confuses students who keep trying to enter their GitHub password. Could this dialog message be changed to request a Personal Access Token (PAT) instead of a password?
