Question of chinese letter input in Rstudio

Hi everyone, I use Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS and Rstudio 1.1.463 on a PC.
Intel i7
GNOME: 3.28.2
64-bit

The internal input software works well with chinese in chrome, text editor etc. but not work with Rstudio which mean I cannot write chinese letter in Rstudio.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem, I will be very appreciated, thank you.

You might have better luck with the preview release of RStudio -- can you give it a shot and let us know how it goes?

Thank you, Kevin, I install the Rstudio, but it has no difference. Actually, when i try to change, the top panel of ubuntu show switch to chinese, but when i hit the keyboard, it still show letter rather than a pop out input panel, and only english letter coming out.
