R on Docker memory issue

Hi

I am trying to run an RScript on rocker/ropensci container to fetches data from Teradata in to data frame.
Dataset is about 1GB. My container crashes if I try to run for a whole year but works fine when querying a small dataset. I assume this is due to memory.

Any suggestions?
