R Shiny, Chrome and images

Hi all,

Our company is running a R Shiny server hosting a number of apps. Most users use Chrome for accessing apps, and things are generally going fine! The 'official' version of Chrome used in the company (i.e. the one downloadable in our internal software center) is currently version 81.0.4044. Some users, however, have started using more recent version of Chrome (version 89 to 91). These users can still access Shiny applications, but if the app shows an image hosted on our server, the image fails to load:

Is this a known issue?

Here is how I would initially investigate this issue.
I would identify a url for the image.
for example it might be
https://forum.posit.co/uploads/default/original/3X/e/c/ec99b667a062e5fb3df47e18128019a223a79796.png

Then I would ask these users if they could browse to that image on chrome, or any other browser.
