Hi R Studio community,
Upon starting up R studio, the console prints 2 - 4 copies of the start up banner, which after googling I've learned apparently shouldn't be worrisome(?). However, while R still works fine, I usually cannot run more than one line of test code, if that, before the console freezes (i.e. I can still operate menus, edit code, change global options, but I cannot run code). Before all of these issues started, I was attempting to load packages for a project and I received numerous loading errors for packages like dplyr
, sf
, spatialEco
, and tigris
. I tried updating all the packages, but no avail.
As some context, I recently updated R to v. 4.1.0 and updated R studio to the most recent version. Until now, things have been working just fine, but recently R studio has become unusable.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Best,
-Alex.
