R Studio Will Not Launch

Hi All,

I'm having issues launching RStudio, after just installing it for the first time on my chromebook (Version 87.0.4280.109 64-Bit). No error or message of any kind. It just won't open. I installed R (3.5.2) on my terminal and then proceeded to download the Ubuntu 18/Debian 10 desktop version for R studio.

I am not at all familiar with any of this and would gladly appreciate any help!

I do not use chromebook but you have to install linux on chromebook for using rstudio.
