RDA using SNP dataset and Environmental data

Hello,
I am trying to do a distance based redundancy analysis (https://popgen.nescent.org/2018-03-27_RDA_GEA.html). But I am hung up on getting identical rownames between my SNPs and Environmental variables, and I am not sure how to proceed. Can someone help me? Also, this is my first time posting to this forum, so please let me know how I can help you help me (if that makes sense)!
