Relabel and merge the fasta files

Hi everyone
I have multiple fasta files. There are two queries.

1. I need to merge these files into one.
2. Relabel these files.
   Is it possible to perform this in R-studio?

Basically yes you can merge data and relabel data. But what are fasta files ? And what exactly did you try that do not work ?
