I got the issue described here in which you can't share projects with more than 25 users.
Unfortunately this happens also when you are trying to remove users. I've tried manually removing the users from the folders with setfacl and also have edited the json file in the
/var/lib/rstudio-server/shared-storage/shared-projects
folder. But still those users show up when I open the project and click share. What else do I have to do to get them out of the list of shared users? (if I try to remove them through the GUI it gives the error message and changes all the files I edited back). There must be some other place that list is hiding.
Edit: Also I deleted their folders from Also removed folders from .Rproj.user/
