Rendering in VDI or Terminal-Server under ESXi

Hello,

we used RStudio in a "protected environment" both on VDIs as (Windows 10 20H2) and on Terminal Servers (Windows Server 2012R2).

The new VMware tools now install the svga 3D driver as default even if you do not enable hardware acceleration.

This seems to mess up the automatic selection between "opengl" and "software".

Now I don't want to manually set the "software" setting for each user.

Is there a global way to do this, outside of the user folders? Or are there other settings I can do?
