rstanarm package does not work with r-lib/actions/setup-renv@v2

Using the rstanarm package does not work with r-lib/actions/setup-renv@v2. Here is a simple package which demonstrates the problem. The resulting log file is not overly information, reporting:

For execution on a local, multicore CPU with excess RAM we recommend calling

To avoid recompilation of unchanged Stan programs, we recommend calling
rstan_options(auto_write = TRUE)

Any suggestions?

Thanks to @Gabor for helping me with previous steps in this problem.

setup-renv does not install system requirements automatically, so you'll need to do that manually.

Ah. Thanks. So, if I want this to work for me I should try to get the maintainers of setup-renv to add the same magic as they use in setup-dependencies?

I don't know if that's easily possible. But you can add a step that installs libglpk-dev (and possibly others) on Linux.
