Rstudio cannot open R.exe but works if I choose Rterm.exe

Hi,

I recently updated R and RStudio and now have to manually choose Rterm.exe every time I start Rstudio in order for R to work. I get the "Choose R installation" dialogue box on startup that shows my R installation directory but errors while attempting to load the (only) R version. If I choose browse and select x64/Rterm.exe RStudio starts normally. Any ideas on how to fix this?
