I am running R Studio on a Dell XPS 13 7390 with an Intel i7-10710U CPU. The editor frequently pulls up junk on the screen. You can see an example in the lower left of the screenshot. It vanishes as soon as I start typing. However, it seems that there is a problem with the screen refresh on this CPU. This only happens with Rstudio. Every other application I have tried works just fine with the screen.
This is a fairly new CPU, just introduced a few months ago, and my guess is that there is some incompatibility between the graphics commands on the CPU and the code used by the Rstudio editor.
