rstudio initialization error this widget's parent does not implement has widgets

Hi,
This error has been reported to me today on about 20% of machines in a classroom. Anyone come across this error and how do you resolve it?
Loading RStudio 1.1.463 on windows 10

It's hard to say without more information about how RStudio is deployed in your classroom.

As a first attempt, you can try resetting RStudio's state: https://support.rstudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/200534577-Resetting-RStudio-Desktop-s-State

A diagnostics report may also be helpful.

Finally, it would be worth trying whether the preview release of RStudio works better. Note that we're planning to promote this build to release soon.
