RStudio Not Starting after downloading

RStudio will not start after being installed on a new Dell Vostro computer. Windows 10.

Error Information: No error is shown.

Spinning circle starts, then disappears.

**Similar to another problem with another user where firewall is blocking the software. Disabling the firewall did not make any difference. ** -

Some time ago, there were reports of incompatibilities with Dell Backup and Recover software and uninstalling it solved the issue. Check this related topic.
