RStudio on MAC M1 won't start - The R session failed to start.

I am installing R and RStudio in a MacBook Pro with an M1 MAX chip.

After installing R and then RStudio, when opening R I get the message that the R session failed to start.

I am running macOS Monterey, 12.6.1 (21G217).

Does anyone have any idea of why this would be happening? I have installed both R and RStudio in another M! Mac and had no problems, with the same OS version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
