Rstudio: session aborted when loading rio package

Whenever I try to load rio package, there's an error message "R Session Aborted. R encountered a fatal error. The session was terminated" and I cannot use rio after I installed the following windows versions:

  • R (ver. 4.2.0)
  • Rstudio (2022.02.2 Build 485)
  • Rtools42
    Would appreciate kind help and solution to this problem. Thanks
