RStudio creates great software that helps people understand data and make better decisions in real-world applications. We are looking to hire a Software Engineer to work on supporting learning use cases in rstudio.cloud. We’re currently using Vue, TypeScript, Go, and Amazon Web Services, but we don’t expect that you know all of those on day one. You’ll initially be working with a team of two other Software Engineers supported by QA Engineers and designers.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has 3+ years of experience building, shipping, and maintaining software in production.
- Some degree of full-stack knowledge. We expect this person to be familiar with the core concepts across the development process (APIs, browser-side JavaScript or TypeScript, databases, etc.).
- Experience writing automated tests and testable code.
