RStudio desktop will not open on Ubuntu 17.10. Error as follows:
The X11 connection broke: Maximum allowed requested length exceeded (code 4)
XIO: fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server ":0"
after 429 requests (429 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
I have tried various installation suggestions, including the .deb downloaded right from the website and wget.
