Putting RTools on the path conflicts with the MinGW toolchain I use with a C++ IDE (CLion). MinGW finds the RTools version of sh.exe and CLion cannot use it.
Is there a workaround?
Can I somehow configure R/RStudio to use the other MinGW installation directly?
Will another make.exe do the job?
I can keep putting RTools in the path when needed in RStudio (which is rarely) and removing it afterwards, but I just wondered if there was a simple solution.
