Running lots of hierarchical regressions at once?

Good morning. I'm very, very new to R. Before I devote too much time to this project, I was wondering if it's possible to import an excel (or csv, etc) file into R where each row has the DV and IVs by block and to run a hierarchical regression for each row? Thanks.
