Saving factor scores from grm

#1

I want to calculate the factor scores for the graded response model as follows:
factor.scores.grm(out)
However, only the first 34 cases with factor scores were presented with the message:
[ reached 'max' / getOption("max.print") -- omitted 580 rows ]
How can I get the other cases?
Thanks!

Hi Peter, welcome!

To help us help you, could you please prepare a reproducible example (reprex) illustrating your issue? Please have a look at this guide, to see how to create one:

Hi,

I want to get factor scores of a larger number of subjects and I used the packages: ltm msm polycor and MASS

I gave the following commands:

data<-read.table("sample.dat", header = TRUE)

factor.scores.grm(out)

It worked, but I got the factor scores of only 34 subjects and the message:

[ reached 'max' / getOption("max.print") -- omitted 580 rows ]

Can you help me to get the output for the other subjects.

In the attachment is a small sample of my data.

Thanks,

Peter

It would be helpful if you put your data into a format that's easy to reproduce.

Using something like dput or datapasta would be super helpful. If you're not familiar with how to do this already, check out Best Practices: how to prepare your own data for use in a `reprex` if you can’t, or don’t know how to reproduce a problem with a built-in dataset?

In terms of understanding your error message, check this out;

Personally, I don't like to view these kinds of reviews in the console. I use RStudio's IDE and when my data is in the form of a table, I view data in the source pain. That is, you might save this output to a variable, and then view that with the View() function.

If you get a reprex up and running I'd be happy to show you.

Thanks! Together with another command I got all the results in the right matrix.
