Scaling Issue - Can't change/ apply global options

I just downloaded R and Rstudio but I can't change or apply any global settings due to a scaling issue. When I click on global options the screen is too big to the point where I can't see any options to "ok", "cancel" or "apply" the options. So, I can't even change the zoom under appearance . I can't even click out of the options once it's opened and must close the entire program. How can the scaling issue be corrected so I can apply various setting.

You can use Ctrl + - and Ctrl + + to adjust the zoom level with keyboard shortcuts -- does that help?
