This Shiny app allows users to upload a CSV file with latitude and longitude coordinates to create and customize a U.S. map of point data. Users can modify points shape, size and color, as well as font type and size. The app is meant for designers and journalists with very little coding experience.
The Shiny app uses the "fiftystater" and "ggplot2" packages.
To demo, simply upload a CSV file with columns "lat" and "lon" such as the one linked in the app itself of school shootings since 2015 compiled by the Washington Post.
