I am making a shiny app and wasn't sure if I should include the rsconnect folder to .gitignore or not. I have the impression that it is not secure to have public all its contents but haven't yet found a definite answer in the shinnyapps docs
Yes, you should. I had the same question and saw on the GitHub pages from more experienced people that they have included the line
rsconnect/
in their .gitignore file.
