Small black-out dark area and reload botton in bottom right corner of RStudio IDE

I updated to RStudio 1.3.1073. Recently, a black dark area shows up in the bottom right corner of the IDE every time I start RStudio. Below the black box there is a little black button that reloads RStudio if pressed. Is there a way to get rid of that annoying feature. I

have tried both restarting and reinstalling the program to no avail.

I found the problem. It was not the Rstudio IDE but the NVIDIA driver.
