We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Customer Analytics team. This is a new team driving the analytics and data product deliverables that enable our customers to understand the impact Spring Health is creating for their organization.

What we expect: You are fluent in R (particularly the tidyverse), have experience querying data with SQL, and are comfortable using Git
You are able to pull data using self-written SQL queries

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Customer Analytics team. This is a new team driving the analytics and data product deliverables that enable our customers to understand the impact Spring Health is creating for their organization.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be part of a team of innovative data scientists building the analytics story that demonstrates Spring Health's value to customers

  • Rapidly iterate with customers and our internal Sales and Customer Success teams to materialize that story in a scalable data product

  • Develop a deep understanding of how organizations design and evaluate their employee benefit programs

  • Analyze data across all aspects of the member mental health journey to show our customers their return on investment and provide them with actionable insights on how to further improve member wellbeing

What we expect from you:

  • You are passionate about changing the face of mental health care and Spring Health’s mission to remove all barriers to mental health resonates with you

  • You have a degree in a STEM-related field and at least 2-3 years of commercial experience in a data science role

  • You are fluent in R (particularly the tidyverse), have experience querying data with SQL, and are comfortable using Git

  • You enjoy telling stories with data - you’re excited about finding the narrative that will resonate most deeply with your audience

  • You are humble, highly motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments

What we'd love to see (Bonus):

  • You have experience using any of the following data: EMR, clinical trials, claims data

  • You have experience building R packages or contributing to the open source R community

  • You have taken a data product from zero to one

  • You are proficient with Looker, Tableau, or other similar data visualization tools

  • You have operated in a role that required interaction with customers
